Our Services

Radiation Protection Surveys

Is your practice benefiting from the Radiation Protection Surveys mandated by the CCHPBC1, CPSBC1, CHCPBC1, BCCOHP1, CVBC1 and other collegial organizations?

Other surveyors typically provide a very limited and expensive ‘service’

i)  a check of the x-ray machine output followed by...

ii)  an x-ray machine testing report and a certificate.

The above ‘service’ doesn’t bring your practice to compliance with WorkSafeBC1 OHS Radiation Exposure regulations.  You, the facility or practice owner, are potentially left liable for failing to achieve this compliance. Let Supertech X-ray help with getting your facility past this hurdle properly.

Make those expensive Radiation Protection Surveys relevant to your staff's safety. With Supertech X-ray as your guide, we can help your practice meet obligations- and elevate awareness of radiation safety to a positive level that your staff can understand and proactively contribute to.

You too can receive the outstanding and competent level of service that current Supertech X-ray clients already experience! Please check your current Radiation Safety Certificate’s expiry date.  Give Supertech a call, text or email to arrange a survey now.

Our clients include those with digital radiography, intraoral (including hand-held) and extraoral (pano) dental x-ray sources, and advanced modalities such as dynamic radiography, c-arm fluoroscopy, CBCT and CT Scan. Regarding CBCT and CT Scan modalities, it is absolutely important that a currently registered and certified CCPM1 Medical Radiation Physicist carry out the required Performance Testing and expertly report the results that would form part of a Supertech X-ray Radiation Protection Survey report. These experts have the training and experience to detect radiation dose and image resolution concerns that a radiologist won’t when reviewing patient images.

Supertech X-ray also provides Radiation Shielding Design and Assessment services for future and current clients.
